GREEN BAY, Wisconsin- The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team swept the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay Phoenixes, 7-0, this afternoon on the road.

Cassandra Dix and Krissy Lankelma breezed past Jennifer Bradfield and Morgan Weuve of UWGB 8-0 in the No. 1 doubles match. In the No. 2 spot, Nina Pfahler and Jessica Kunzelmann defeated Maria Anderson and Rebecca Nelson of UWGB 8-2. The UNI team of Stefannia Sampaio and Chelsea Moore won their No. 3 match against Samantha Iwen and Amanda Timm of UWGB 8-5.

The Panther women continued to breeze their way through single play. Pfahler dominated her No. 1 match, defeating Bradfield of UWGB 6-1, 6-0. Dix got the win in the No. 2 spot against Weuve of UWGB 6-2, 6-1. Kunzelmann is making her way closer to the top of the all-time career singles win list with her win in the No. 3 match. She defeated Timm of UWGB 6-4, 6-0 to put her only two wins away from the top spot on the list. In the No. 4 match, Moore defeated Anderson of UWGB 6-1, 7-5. Lankelma won her No. 5 match against Nelson of UWGB 6-1, 6-2. In the No. 6 spot, Sampaio defeated Iwen of UWGB 6-2, 6-4.

The Panthers will travel to Tennessee to take on the University of Tennessee-Martin on March 10 at 3:00 p.m.
