WACO, Texas – Texas’ two remaining doubles pairs were unable to stave off elimination from the ITA Texas Regional Championships Monday at Baylor’s Hurd Tennis Center.

Senior Aeriel Ellis and sophomore Noel Scott suffered an 8-4 defeat at the hands of Texas Tech’s Nikki Sanders and Rashmi Teltumbde in the doubles quarterfinals.  UT junior Elizabeth Begley and sophomore Lina Padegimaite fell to Baylor’s second-seeded duo of Ema Burgic and Jordaan Sanford by an 8-5 margin in the quarterfinals.

Texas’ Annat Rabinovich suffered a 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-8) to UT Arlington’s Brooke Dennis in the quarterfinals of the singles consolation draw.
