ATHENS, Ga. (May 23, 2012) — South Carolina women’s tennis senior Anya Morgina earned a 6-3, 6-3 upset of 15th-ranked Jacqueline Cako of Arizona State on Wednesday in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championship in Athens, Ga., at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Alawi Named ITA Carolina Region Player to Watch
COLUMBIA, S.C. (May 14, 2012) — Jaklin Alawi from the South Carolina women’s tennis team was named the ITA Carolina Region Player to Watch on Monday.
Alawi led the Gamecocks in singles and doubles victories all season.
