RAMS FINISH OFF OPENING WEEKEND WITH SUNDAY SWEEP OF RICHMOND, JMU

The Short Story: VCU (4-0, 1-0 A10) got singles victories from seven different players en route to a Sunday sweep, posting wins over in-state rivals, Richmond and JMU. In their first-ever Atlantic 10 match, the Rams dominated the Spiders winning in straight sets in every match, led by senior Max Wennakoski's 6-1, 6-2 win at the second singles spot. VCU came back just a few hours later and got singles wins from three other players to defeat JMU.
