Parking for all matches is FREE and will be in the west stadium lot by Bronco Gym.
Patrons will need to print off a ticket from one of the kiosks located throughout the lot and place on your dash.
Please remember your parking space number since it will have to be entered at the kiosk.
You will be able to select parking for the tennis match at the kiosk and there will be no cost.

ADMISSION

Admission to all Boise State tennis matches is free ... this does not include the Mountain West Championship April 28-30 at the Appleton Tennis Center.

WHAT IS HAPPENING

The Broncos (4-18, 1-1 MW) close a six-match homestand this weekend when they host the New Mexico Lobos (8-10, 1-1 MW) at 6 p.m. on Friday, then a doubleheader Sunday starting with the Air Force Falcons (6-12, 0-2 MW) at 9:30 a.m. followed by a match versus the Idaho Vandals (11-6) at 3:30 p.m.
Coach Patton is looking for his 800th career win as a collegiate coach needing two to reach the milestone.

Leading the way in singles for Boise State are Jack Heslin (So., Auckland, New Zealand) who is 16-12 overall and 9-9 in duals splitting time primarily between courts two and three ... Brian Tran (Fr., Greystanes, Australia) is 13-9 on the year and 10-8 in duals playing mostly at No. 2 and 3 singles ... Kyle Butters (So., Wanganui, New Zealand) has played No. 1 singles in nearly every match this year going 4-10 in duals and 10-14 overall this year.
Leading the team in doubles play is the tandem of Kyle Butters and Jack Heslin who are 11-8 together ... but the lineup has fluctuated lately with Pedro Platzeckand Brian Tran (4-5 overall) playing at No. 1, while Kyle Butters and Ryland McDermott (4-2) have played together with Heslin paired with Greg Wischer (1-1).
The Broncos have one of the youngest rosters in the NCAA featuring five sophomores and three freshmen, no upperclassmen.

New Mexico enters the match at 8-10 overall and 1-1 in conference play ... last weekend UNM fell 4-3 to Fresno State in Albuquerque before defeating Nevada 4-1 in Reno.
Bart Van Leijsen plays the No. 1 position for the Lobos where he is 4-9 in duals, 8-12 on the year in singles ... Rick Hernandez-Tong is the primary No. 2 singles player going 6-6 on court two in duals and is 17-9 overall.
Hernandez-Tong and Lawrence Perrin have been playing No. 1 doubles for UNM where they are 4-2 in duals.

Air Force enters the week at 6-12 overall and 0-2 in league play ... the Falcons are coming off a weekend where they lost 4-1 at Nevada and 4-0 at Fresno State.
Lucas Fumagalli is the No. 1 singles player for AFA going 4-4 in duals and 13-10 overall ... three different players have competed at No. 2 singles with Issac Perez has the most success at 2-3 in duals and 8-13 overall.
The tandem of Tadhg Collins and Max Olson are the Falcons No. 1 doubles pair going 3-4 on court one in duals.

Idaho enters the weekend 11-6 overall and are coming off a pair of victories last week over Montana (4-3) and Northern Colorado (6-1).
Mark Kovacs plays No. 1 singles for the Vandals where he is 11-4 in duals and 12-5 overall on the year ... Felipe Fonseca is the No. 2 singles player going 12-1 on court two this spring and is 14-2 overall this year.
Kovacs and Carlos Longhi Neto are the top doubles pair for Idaho going 12-2 on court one during the dual season.

Boise State went 1-2 last week to open this six-match homestand. They opened with a 6-1 win over Eastern Washington then followed with a 5-2 loss to UC Santa Barbara and a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Pepperdine.
Freshman Brian Tran led the Broncos during the three-match stretch going 2-0 with his third match versus Pepperdine abandoned once the team victory was clinched, he was leading at the time. Another freshman Ryland McDermott won his match against EWU and was leading in his second match versus Pepperdine when play was stopped. Other Broncos recording wins on the week were Greg Wischer, Jack Heslin, Pedro Platzeck and Morgan Stone.

The Broncos hit the road next weekend playing at Nevada on Friday and at Fresno State on Saturday.

Greg Patton enters his 21st season at Boise State where he has posted a 447-192 record while winning 14 conference championships in three different conferences.
This is the General’s 37th season as a collegiate head coach ... Patton has put together an impressive 798-385 record, which currently ranks him first nationally for most wins by an active NCAA Division I men’s tennis coach and fourth all-time.
Since returning to Boise State in 2003, Patton guided the team to four-consecutive Mountain West Tournament Championships (2012-15) during its first four seasons in the conference. He also earned Western Athletic Conference titles in four of nine seasons (2003, 2005-07), as well as a WAC regular-season championship in 2009.

The 2017 Mountain West Conference Men’s Tennis Championship Tournament will be held April 28-30 at Boise State’s Appleton Tennis Center.
This is the first time that the league’s championship event has been in Boise.
The Broncos have won four MW titles (2012-15) in their first five years as members of the conference.
