Brigham Young University Hawaii vs. Gustavus Adolphus

Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s tennis team opened the season today with a 6-3 win over Gustavus Adolphus (MN) on the BYU-Hawaii tennis courts. The Seasiders picked up a pair of doubles wins and singles wins at the top four spots to secure the win.
Rong Ma scored a 6-1, 6-2 win at the number one singles position for the Seasiders while Agnel Peter was claiming a 5-7, 6-4 (10-8) win at number two singles. Diego Miranda picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at the third singles position and C.J. Adamson earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory at number four singles.
Ma and Peter combined for an 8-3 win at number one doubles and Miranda and Adamson teamed up for an 8-3 win at the second doubles position.
The Seasiders’ next action will be on February 24th at UH-Hilo at 1:00 pm.
