Mobile, AL—Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s tennis player Zevhan Zakharov suffered a pair of defeats at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Small College Championships.
Zakharov lost in Thursday’s opening round to Hans Hach of Abilene Christian 6-0, 6-0 and lost a tough, 6-1, 1-6, 7-5 decision today against Vlad Catlan of Bluefield State.
Zakharov will play tomorrow for seventh place in the Division II portion of the tournament.
