Pensacola, FL—The 30th-ranked Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s tennis team suffered its first defeat of the season today, losing to 5th-ranked West Florida 6-3 on the road to fall to 6-1 for the season. The Seasiders picked up wins at number two doubles, number one singles, and number three singles.
Rong Ma won 6-4, 6-2 at number one singles and Diego Miranda earned a win at number three by a 2-6, 7-6(2), (10-5). Miranda teamed up with C.J. Adamson for an 8-3 win at number two doubles.
The Seasiders’ next action will be tomorrow against Cameron (OK) in Pensacola, Florida at 2:00 pm CST.
