San Diego, Calif. - UCLA's
Andrea Remynse and
Yasmin Schnack captured the Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional doubles title in San Diego on Sunday to earn main draw acceptance into next month's ITA National Collegiate Indoor Championships.
Remynse and Schnack, the tournament's top-seeded doubles team, defeated Arizona's Natasha Marks/Claire Rietsch, 8-4 in Sunday's final.
Schnack actually has a chance to two titles in San Diego, as the Bruin senior defeated Marks, 6-4, 6-1 in one of Sunday's semifinals. She will meet USC's Maria Sanchez in the championship match on Monday. Sanchez dispatched of Remynse, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the other semifinal on Sunday.
