Flying Dutch Advance to MIAA Tournament Championship Match
The Hope College women's tennis team will be bidding for a return trip to the NCAA Division III championships when the Flying Dutch host Kalamazoo on Friday in the title game of the MIAA tournament. Both teams advanced to the championship match behind semi-final victories on Thursday. Hope defeated rival Calvin 5-0 in a match played to decision while Kalamazoo topped Albion 5-3. The championship match will be played at Hope's new VandePoel-Heeringa Stadium Courts beginning at 4 p.m. Coach Adam Ford's Flying Dutch have a 14-6 season record.
