FLUSHING, N.Y. (Oct. 2, 2010) – NYIT women’s tennis faced its seventh loss of the season Saturday after a 9-0 sweep by Queens College.
The Bears were blanked during the opening doubles matches, with the Knights winning all three 8-0.
In singles action, Alexana Gaspari was swept 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot, as was Sarah Vivonetto at the No. 3 spot. The Bears were able to earn game wins at the No. 2, and No. 4-6 spots, but could not take a set.
