OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (Sept. 11, 2010) - The NYIT women's tennis team was swept 9-0 by Queens College Saturday afternoon at the NYIT Tennis Complex. With the loss, the Bears dropped to 0-2 on the season.
Senior Amanda Szollosi won four sets during her No. 5 singles bout, but ultimately fell 6-3, 6-1.
The Bears return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College. First serve is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
