2005-06: 2006 Conference USA Most Outstanding Singles Player of the Championship... After battling through a tough dual schedule, came through for her team in dramatic fashion at the Conference USA championship to help the Owls win their first league crown... Secured Rice’s C-USA quarterfinal upset of No. 55 and top-seeded Marshall by defeating Karolina Soor 6-4, 6-4 in the last match... Scored Rice’s first point in the semifinal with a 6-1, 6-1 win against third-seeded Houston’s Vicky Simpson... Turned in the championship clinching victory with a 6-4, 6-3 triumph against Brooke Rambally of second-seeded SMU... In the fall, teamed with Blair DiSesa for a stellar run at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships as the pair advanced to the semifinals.
