IRVINE, Calif. --- UCI women's tennis took the pressure off early by scoring the first four points of the match on its way to a 4-3 win over the 71st-ranked Louisville Cardinals Wednesday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

UCI (12-3, 3-0) doubles came from behind to earn the crucial doubles point. Ali Facey and Brooke Schweyer scored the tiebreaker after falling behind early.

The Facey sisters each scored first set victories to put UCI in good standing. Kat Facey would finish the job along with Kristina Smith to score straight-set victories. Ali Facey needed a third set, but sent her foe to a 6-0 defeat to clinch the match for UCI.

The 'Eaters would drop the final three matches for a final of 4-3. Next up its back to Big West action with the UC Davis Aggies visiting on Friday, March 15th at 1:00 p.m.
