Due West, SC—The second-ranked Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s tennis team continues their undefeated season of 15-0 on the road today with a 9-0 win over Erskine College.  The Seasiders swept all six of the singles matches as well as all three of the doubles.

Elwen Li and Yuan Jia won 8-0 at number one doubles while Annie Hwang and Shawni Porter  took an 8-0 decision at the second doubles slot.  Sasha Ulbrichtova and Salina Aranda earned an 8-2 win at number three doubles for the Seasiders.

In singles play, Jia won 6-, 6-0 at number one, Li took a 6-1, 6-0 win at number two, and Hwang scored a 6-1, 6-0 win at number three.  In the number four singles spot, Salina Aranda took another win for the Seasiders scoring 6-7(7-5), 6-1, 1-0(10-4).  Sasha Ulbrichtova won 6-1, 6-2 at number five singles.  The win for number six singles was taken by Sophia Simmons who took a 6-2, 6-2 decision.  

The next action for the BYU–Hawaii women’s tennis team will be tomorrow against Augusta State in Augusta, Georgia at 2:00 pm.
