BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - IU Volleyball nearly swept the Big Ten's weekly awards this week as Caitlin Cox earned Defensive Player of the Week and Jordan Haverly was named the conference's Freshman of the Week. The Hoosier duo guided Indiana to a 4-0 weekend and Hampton Inn Invitational team title.

Cox dug 88 hits over the weekend, including three matches with dig totals of 20 or more. She committed her lone service error in the first match of the weekend before converting on her next 92 opportunities, passing 99 of 100 service opportunities successfully over the weekend. Cox also contributed two aces and 14 assists as the Hoosiers posted wins over Delaware, Eastern Kentucky, Missouri State and Ohio, who is receiving votes in the latest national poll.

Haverly averaged 4.5 kills per set in Athens, Ohio, and was named to the all-tournament team. The freshman also contributed 2.4 digs and 0.5 blocks per set on the weekend. She posted a pair of double-doubles in the tournament with 17 kills and 13 digs against Delaware in the opener before concluding the weekend with a career-high 28 kills and 12 saves versus Missouri State.
