BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Day one of the Hoosier Invitational is in the books, and Indiana came away with a total of 12 victories. The Hoosiers won five of seven singles matches while arising victorious in seven of eight doubles contests.

Five different Hoosiers had a perfect 3-0 day. Leslie Hureau, Charlotte Martin, Megan Matter, Myriam Sopel and Lindsey Stuckey each won a pair of doubles matches and advanced to the second round of their singles flights.

Indiana dominated the doubles bracket, placing three teams in the semifinals.

The tournament will start back up Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with doubles action, followed by singles play at 11:30 a.m. Day two will then come to an end after the fourth round of doubles which begins at 3 p.m.

Sunday, the final day of competition, is scheduled to consists of just the final round of singles.
