UNO tennis teams defeat Xavier

NEW ORLEANS -- The University of New Orleans won men's and women's tennis
dual matches Friday against Xavier University of Louisiana at UNO Wow Café
Tennis Center. The Privateers won 7-0, and the Lady Privateers won 6-1.
UNO's women (5-3) earned their fifth consecutive victory and snapped the
seven-match winning streak of the Gold Nuggets (7-3). UNO's men are 8-5,
and Xavier's men are 7-3.
Both Xavier teams will return to Wow Café Tennis Center for duals against
Jackson State at 11 a.m. Sunday.
