Texas quartet sweeps opening matches at ITA All-American Championships

David Holiner, Sudanwa Sitaram, Alex Hilliard and Chris Camillone win initial singles matches in Tulsa.
TULSA, Okla. – Texas juniors Alex Hilliard and Chris Camillone and sophomores David Holiner and Sudanwa Sitaram swept their opening singles matches in the pre-qualifying singles draw Saturday on day one of the ITA All-American Championships.
Hilliard posted a 6-2, 7-5 win over DePaul’s George Chanturia and will take on Southern Illinois’ Jorge Cavero in the next round on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Camillone notched a 7-5, 6-1 win over Wichita State’s Tomislav Gregurovic to set up a meeting with Iowa’s Will Vasos on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
Holiner dealt DePaul’s Matija Palinic a 6-3, 6-1 defeat and will take on USC Upstate’s Edgar Rodriguez on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Sitaram posted a 6-0, 6-2 win over Southern Illinois’ Stanislas Rodier
