FLUSHING, N.Y. – Texas junior Chris Camillone and sophomore David Holiner suffered a defeat in their lone consolation-round match Friday at the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships.
California’s Carlos Cueto and Ben McLachlan dealt Camillone and Holiner an 8-3 loss in the quarterfinals of the doubles consolation draw. Camillone and Holiner will leave New York with a 1-2 record in the tournament.
UT also added wins from Soren Hess-Olesen and Daniel Whitehead at the Southwest Shootout in Fort Worth, where play will continue on Saturday.
