BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Lachlan Ferguson continues to rack up postseason honors for his work on the court and in the classroom. The College Sports Information Directors of America announced the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District teams on Thursday. Indiana men’s tennis coach Randy Bloemendaal said that Ferguson represents what his program is all about.

"Lachlan is our team captain and our number one player on the team,” said Bloemendaal. “His leadership has been a tremendous asset to the team, on and off the court. This honor proves once again how he demands excellence in everything he sets out to achieve.”

The Adelaide, Australia native is a fitness specialist major in the School of Health Physical Education and Recreation. In addition to maintaining a 3.90 grade point average, Ferguson earned All-Big Ten honors for his efforts this season.
