Hoosiers Sweep Wright State, 7-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis (1-2) tallied its first victory of the season on Wednesday, knocking off Wright State 7-0. In doubles, MacTaggart and Isade Juneau took down Jamison Clark and Hayden Joblin 8-5, leading an Indiana sweep of the three doubles matches. Dimitrije Tasic and Chris Essick won 8-3 at number three, and Sam Monette and Daniel Bednarczyk won 8-6 at number two.

In singles play, MacTaggart won 6-0, 6-1 over Joblin at number two. Monette topped Ricardo Pineda, 6-2, 6-3, and at number three and Elliott Yee won 6-0, 6-1 over Dan Hyman. Tasic won at number four singles 6-4, 6-2.

The matches at number one and number five each went to a third set. Juneau won his number one singles match 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Essick won 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 over Clark at number five.
