Hoosiers Sweep the Colonels, 7-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis (5-5) swept Eastern Kentucky (2-4) 7-0 on Saturday. IU swept all three doubles matches and and all six singles matches, not even dropping a set to the Colonels.

In doubles, Indiana controlled the match from the outset, storming out to 8-0 wins at two and three doubles and leading 7-0 before taking an 8-1 win at number one.

In singles, Sam Monette was the first to finish, winning 6-3, 6-1 at number two singles over Juanjo de la Llera. Isade Juneau was the next to finish, taking down Daridge Saidi, 6-0, 6-2, at number one. Elliott Yee's 6-0, 6-0 win at number six clinched the victory for IU.

Daniel Bednarczyk scored the next point, defeating Aleix Alvarez 6-2, 6-0 at number five, and then Josh MacTaggart defeated Alex Alvaro 6-4, 6-2 at number three. The final point came from Dimitrije Tasic at number four, as he beat Lucas Smets 6-2, 6-3.
