ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann College men’s tennis team defeated Lebanon Valley College, 6-3, Friday night in a non-conference match.
The Knights opened the match by taking all three doubles matches. David Pfister and Brian Crispin won No. 1 doubles, 8-5. Chris Brown and Dan Harnos took No. 2 doubles, 8-1 and Steve Klenk and Greg Bridgeman won 8-6 at No. 3 doubles.
Neumann took the No. 1, 2 and 6 singles matches for the 6-3 win. Pfister won his match at No. 1, 6-1, 6-2. Brown won No.2, 6-1, 6-3. Klenk pulled out No. 6 singles in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
The Knights will be back on the court tomorrow for a match against Wilkes University. The match is slated to start at noon.
