Men's Tennis Topples Davidson

Chestnut Hill, MA - Playing in their first home match of the season, the Boston College men's tennis team defeated Davidson College 6-1 over the weekend.

Junior Thomas Nolan and partner sophomore Erik Kreutzer defeated their opponents Calum Gee and Eric Noble in the No. 1 doubles match 8-3. Nolan and Kreutzer also won their singles matches in the No. 1 and 2 positions respectively.

Freshman Akash Muppidi and Alex Skinner both won their singles matches at the No. 4 and 5 positions in straight sets, and Muppidi and partner senior Sam Wagner won their doubles match from the No. 3 position.

Men's tennis continues their home campaign with two dual matches on February 7. The Eagles host Colgate for a 10 a.m. morning match-up before tangling with cross-town rivals Boston University in an evening match.
