La Jolla, CA - The Boston College men's tennis team picked up two wins this week, defeating University of California San Diego 5-2 and UC Riverside 6-1.

The Eagles enter this weekend's Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament on a three game win streak after back-to-back ACC losses to Virginia and Virginia Tech to close out the month of February.

Against San Diego, The Eagles picked up wins from junior Thomas Nolan, freshman Akash Muppidi and sophomores Erik Kreutzer and Brian Locklear. Nolan, Muppidi and Locklear defeated their opponents in straight sets, and Kreutzer rallied after dropping his first set to take the win in three.

In doubles partners Nolan and Kreutzer were defeated for only the second time this season, but BC held on to the doubles point with wins in the No. 2 and 3 positions.

Against Riverside, BC had a strong showing from their top four as Nolan, Muppidi and Kreutzer and Alex Rastorgouev all took victories in their singles matches.

The Eagles continue their California roadtrip at the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament before returning home to resume their ACC schedule against North Carolina State.
