Men's Tennis Defeats Dartmouth 5-2

Hanover, N.H. - The Boston College Men's Tennis team regrouped from a pair of ACC losses over the weekend to hand Dartmouth a 5-2 decision and pick up their seventh win of the season.

In the doubles matches the Eagles showed their strength winning all three matches to pick up the doubles point.

In singles, junior Thomas Nolan continued to dominate at the No. 1 position defeating his opponent Daniel Freeman in straight sets.

The Eagles also had a strong showing from freshman Akash Muppidi Muppidi won his match in three sets, winning the first and dropping the second to force a third match point.

Senior Alex Rastorgouev picked up his second duel match singles win of the season in the No. 5 spot and sophomore Brian Locklear contributed from the sixth seed with a win in straight sets as well.

The Eagles head west for spring break, visiting California to take on Loyola Marymount, UC San Diego and Riverside and compete in the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament.
