Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College men's tennis team picked up two victories over the weekend defeating Colgate 6-1 on Saturday morning and handing Boston University a 7-0 loss on Saturday night.
In the morning match, the Eagles won all three doubles matches against Colgate and collected victories in the singles competition in the top four spots.
Thomas Nolan, Erik Kreutzer and Akash Muppidi playing in the No. 1-3 positions all defeated their opponents in straight sets. Alex Rastorgouev and Michael Vann also recorded victories for the Eagles.
In the afternoon match against crosstown rivals Boston University, BC handed the Terriers a 7-0 loss taking all six singles matches and the doubles point to remain undefeated on the season.
In singles competition all six members of BC men's tennis defeated BU in straight sets and the Eagles took the doubles point for the win.
The Eagles next match is the ECAC Team Indoors competition at Harvard University February 13-15.
