Women's Tennis Signs Three During Fall Signing Period
Saturday, 01/08/2011

The 2011-12 Bradley women's tennis team will welcome three freshmen to the team, after Carly Miles (Greentown, Ind./Eastern), Elizabeth Przystawski (Prospect, Ky./Assumption) and Cassia Wojtalik (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) each signed National Letters of Intent to attend Bradley during the fall signing period.

Przystawski won a state doubles title as a junior, going 24-1 in doubles action and was named team MVP after helping Assumption to a second-place finish in the state tournament last year.  During her sophomore year she earned the team's coaches' award after helping the Rockets finish third in the state.

Miles enters her senior year with a 56-4 career singles records, playing all three years at #1 singles for Eastern High School.  A three-time first-team all-conference selection, she has earned all-state honorable mention recognition each of her three years and is a three-time team MVP.  Miles has also claimed individual state sectional titles each of her three prep seasons and helped lead the Comets to the first team sectional title in school history as a sophomore.

Wojtalik went undefeated at #2 singles last year for the Lady Irish and helped Cathedral to its third consecutive sectional championship.  She was named the team's most improved player as a junior and earned second-team all-state honors in singles in 2009-10.  As a sophomore she was a first-team all-state selection in doubles.
