WATERLOO, Iowa -- Senior Nicole Miller (Glendale Heights, Ill./Glenbard West) picked up a victory in the Platinum Flight Singles Consolation bracket to highlight the second day of play for the Bradley women's tennis team at the Northern Iowa Fall Invitational Saturday.

Rain during Saturday's action forced the teams indoors and also brought about the cancellation of the doubles consolation rounds.

Miller was a 6-2, 6-2 winner against Emily Rogers in the opening round of the consolation bracket of the Platinum Flight Singles.  She is scheduled to face Veronika Makashov of South Dakota in the consolation bracket semifinals Sunday.

In the Bronze Flight Singles Consolation bracket, freshman Ashley Roth (Birmingham, Mich./Birmingham Seaholm) dropped a hard fought 7-5, 6-2 decision to South Dakota State's Katie Elifson, while fellow freshman Meredith McDonagh (Bryan, Ohio/Bryan) fell 6-3, 6-4 to Drake's Earlynn Lauer.

The final day of the Northern Iowa Fall Invitational is scheduled to continue Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
