Tonight, the Kailua Racquet Club witnessed some spectacular tennis. The first match had the #2 seeded team of Aleksandra Stankovic (Sweden) and Sandra Wikstrom (Sweden) pushed to the limit by a tough, young UH team: Alyssa Nafarette (Seal Beach, California) and Natasha Zorec (Slovenia). Alyssa and Natasha took the first set in a tie-break, 7-6(5), but the #1 team from HPU and our #2 seed took the next two sets 6-4, 6-4.

In the second match of the night, Kady Pooler, the Big Island pro with a 125mph serve and Judy Weitz defeated Kana Aikawa and Rie Yukihiro 6-0, 6-3. It was an amazing display of power with Kady hitting 4 second serve aces!!!
