Honolulu, HI (3/10/09) – At Central Oahu Regional Park, the HPU women’s tennis team topped Northwestern College (St. Paul, MN). 8-1.
The HPU ladies swept all three doubles games at love. Lauren Shin and Ingrid Cseh topped Wendy Miller and Rebecca Leland in one singles; and the pair Sandra Wikstrom and Aleksandra Stankovic, and the team of Tinka Mihova and Nina Mihova, won two and three doubles, respectively.
ITA #45 Nina Mihova won her one singles match at love over Miller, and Tinka Mihova, Stankovic, and Lauren Shin did the same at the four, five, and six.
Cseh defeated Leland at number two singles 6-2, 6-2.
The Lady Sea Warriors will face off with UH-Manoa tomorrow with the start time set at 4:00 p.m. at the UH Tennis Complex.
