No. 48 NC State men's tennis lost a close 4-3 decision to No. 22 North Carolina at Pullen Park on Friday, March 18. The Wolfpack swept the last three singles courts to end play.

The loss sends the Pack to 8-5 (0-1 ACC) on the year, while the Tar Heels improve to 6-4 (1-0 ACC).

Sean Weber came from behind to take down Cameron Ahari, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (11-9), while Ivan Sanchez Gomez outlasted William Parker, 7-6, 7-5. Rafael Paez ended the evening by topping No. 103 Joey Burkhardt, 7-6, 2-6, 1-0 (10-8).

The Wolfpack will return to action in nearby Durham at No. 10 Duke on Sunday, March 20, at 1 p.m.
