NC State Men’s Tennis to Face VT at ACCs on Thursday

NC State men' tennis will face Virginia Tech tomorrow, Thursday, April 21, in the first round of the 2011 ACC Championship at 3 p.m. The tournament will run April 21-24 at the Cary Tennis Park in nearby Cary, N.C.

The Wolfpack will enter the tournament with a 10-13 (2-9 ACC) record, while VT comes in at 13-10 (5-6 ACC).
The Pack stands as the 11th seed overall, while the Hokies are sixth. NC State topped the Hokies, 5-2, at home during the regular season on April 10.
NC State is ranked No. 55 as a team in the latest ITA poll, with Jaime Pulgar at No. 110 in singles. Dominic Hodgson and Rob Lowe are ranked at No. 90 in doubles.
Virginia Tech is ranked No. 37 as a team, with Luka Somen standing at No. 60 in solo play. Pedro Graber and Will Black are slotted at No. 61 in doubles.
