(San Diego, CA) - The USD women's team dropped a 5-2 decision to Ole Miss in this morning's semi-final match at the Barnes Collegiate Invitational. In the other semi-final, Utah beat Texas Tech, 4-3. The Toreros will host Texas Tech at the USD West Tennis Courts on Friday at 12 noon in the 3rd/4th place match. Ole Miss swept the doubles matches, including two closely contested matches at No. 2 and No. 3. In singles play, USD receive victories from Tammy Kevey at No. 3 (6-2, 6-3 winner over Laura Van De Stroet) and from Maria Raygada at No. 6 (6-2, 7-6 over Mimi Renaudin). Raygada improves her springs singles record to a perfect 11-0.
