OJAI, Calif. - The Oregon men's and women's tennis teams final competitors were both knocked out of singles play at the Pac-10 Individual Championships but pairs from both teams moved on doubles action.

While singles play began on Thursday, doubles action started on Friday morning.

The three other Oregon women's doubles teams all fell in the opening round.

Back on the men's side, Oregon had some initial success in the Championship Doubles Bracket with Alexander Cornelissen and Marcos Verdasco defeating Stanford's Clayton and Kelly 8-5 to start the day. However, their luck ran out in the quarterfinals, losing to the UCLA team of Look and Brazdil 8-4.
