OJAI, Calif. - The Oregon men's and women's tennis teams' runs at the 2009 Pac-10 Individual Championships came to an end on Saturday afternoon as the Ducks' pair of remaining doubles teams fell in the semifinals.

On the women's side of the Invitational Bracket, the Oregon tandem of Siobhan Cavan and Stephanie Macfarlane lost a very close match to the Stanford team of Perez and Yen, 9-8 (6). In men's competition in the Invitational Bracket, the Ducks' squad of Jose' Izquierdo and Ric Mortera fell 8-5 to USC's Kecki and Kells.

Those two squads consisted of the lone reamining Ducks in play at the Pac-10 Individual Championships.

In singles play, the Pac-10 title will be contested tomorrow between Stanford's Bradley Kahn and USC's Steve Johnson. In women's singles, USC's Amanda Fink and Arizona's Natasha Marks will play for the Pac-10 crown.

Overall, Cavan and Duncan MacDonald-Korth advanced the furthest in singles play, losing in day two after advancing through the first two rounds on the opening day of competition. In doubles play, two of Oregon's six squads advanced to the semifinals.
